Contrary to popular belief, I was not born in the wagon of a traveling show.
In actual fact, I was born into a loving middle class family that nurtured my creativity every step of the way.
As a youth I excelled in art (and not much more).
Staking my claim to fame in high school less for my artistic contributions to school carnivals and elections than for the scathing often pornographic cartoons that usually found their way to their intended subjects (or washroom walls).
The work ethic was pounded into me from an early age; paper routes, yard work, gas stations and grocery stores.
